I had a good job. I worked hard and made money for the shareholders. But now I am my own boss and I am the shareholder. I create employment through my SME and there is no greater satisfaction than that.

I am a proud PNG farmer. I am a provider - female farmers not just manage homes and families but also farms. We don't only worry about feeding our children but we also worry about feeding the nation. That's our value.

The next generation isn't patient; they don't understand how important it is to communicate with nature

This land was passed on from my grandparents to my parents to me! We have all tended to it with love, since it feeds us and employs us. But will my children want to continue as farmers? There is no electricity here, the city looks like an attractive destination to them – the land of opportunities. But actually, the opportunity lies right here in the land.
